Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may log an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand use of the Mankato reference pages. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements to the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles.

Links lead to Blue Earth County, Minnesota, library, archive, and third-party search resources. Each destination controls the information submitted there under its own privacy terms. That includes sponsored search results provided by another company.

Providers that host or support the reference may process the technical logs described above. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the associated automatic data. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it and not for another reason.
Data Security
The reference uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, so the service does not maintain a visitor password or profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so it can be deleted.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, they may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a service holds. Because this reference keeps little data, a request normally involves the contact mailbox and applicable logs. Use the Contact page. Minnesota Government Data Practices Act rights, including Minn. Stat. ch. 13 and section 13.03, govern public data held by government entities, not this private reference. Requests to remove or correct an official record must go to its custodian.
